The Program

A tentative program is designed as following:

  • July 31 (Sunday): Arrival day

    Please arrive at the Howard International House in Taipei on July 31. If you wish to book a room on-line, you can do it by clicking on the above link (credit card accepted). Please let me know when you have done it. I can also book it for you if you prefer.

  • August 1 (Monday): Visit National Palace Museum

    We will have a half a day tour to the National Palace Museum in Taipei. You will find a wealth of treasures in this museum that you shall not find elsewhere.

    Then a two to three hours trip will take everyone to the conference site at Chi-Tou Forest Recreation Area. We shall stay in Leader Hotel Chi-Tou. Note that we will book the rooms for all of us depending on your request. If you have special need, please let us know.

  • August 2 (Tuesday): Conference day

    There will be one plenary talk from 9:00 am to 10:00 am followed by three 30 minute contributed talks in the morning, then another five 30 minute contributed talks in the afternoon.

  • August 3 (Wednesday): Conference day and Banquet

    There will be one plenary talk from 9:00 am to 10:00 am followed by three 30 minute contributed talks in the morning.


    We hope to arrange a tour visiting aboriginal village and have banquet there.
  • August 4 (Thursday): Conference day

    There will be one plenary talk from 9:00 am to 10:00 am followed by three 30 minute contributed talks in the morning, then another five 30 minute contributed talks in the afternoon.

  • August 5 (Friday): Conference day

    There will be one plenary talk from 9:00 am to 10:00 am followed by three 30 minute contributed talks in the morning, then another four 30 minute contributed talks in the afternoon.

    The business meeting shall be held after the last talk. As usual, the publishing of the proceedings of the conference and the location for the next conference will be discussed.
